Is the news of Gorillaz’ D-Sides coming out not enough to keep you going throughout your day? Yeah, it wasn’t for us either. The good news is that we just got some more news from the cartoon camp.
Just because the group threw in the towel, doesn’t mean they are resting on their laurels. We first tipped off the news that they might be working on a film, and now that rumor has become a reality. In an email from the band they shed light on the subject saying that Screen International has confirmed the film, called Bananaz. It is about the creators of Gorillaz, Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett.
Filmed by Ceri Levy (Starshaped), there is no release date set, but according to various sources, it will be sold and distributed internationally by HanWay Films.
