It is pretty difficult to find a voice from alternative rock’s past more beautiful than that of Elizabeth Fraser. Her ethereal vocals blended perfectly with the shoegaze guitars of Robin Guthrie, making the unmistakable sound of the Cocteau Twins. The band’s lengthy and influential career spanned from 1980 to 1997, so picking a video from their back catalog was no easy task. For this week’s Flashback Friday Video, I settled on “Iceblink Luck,” which comes from their fantastic 1990 album Heaven Or Las Vegas.
