Parlophone Remembers That Radiohead Sells Records… Readies Box Set

Radiohead’s former record label, Parlophone, has decided to ride the hype of the band’s current buzz by releasing a limited edition box set containing the seven albums leading up to In Rainbows. In case you somehow never purchased their earlier albums, you will be able to snag a CD box set with Pablo Honey, The Bands, OK Computer, Kid A, Amnesiac, I Might Be Wrong: Live Recordings and Hail To The Thief for £39.99.

For fans strictly in the digital age, a bundled download will be offered DRM-free at 320 kbps MP3s for just a bit less, £34.99. The one sort of cool thing that they are doing is also selling a 4 gig USB stick containing all of the albums. The USB stick will be shaped as the well-known Radiohead bear image, which will feature CD quality WAV files as well as the album artwork. As tempting as this version of the box set may be, it will set you back a whopping £79.99.

The current on sale date for these is set for December 10. Parlophone has set up a website for more information and to order the box set in its various forms: radioheadstore.com
