Radiohead Creates Own Imprint For US Release

We just can’t go a single day without posting some sort of Radiohead related news these days. You’ve got to hand it to the band for generating a mind-boggling amount of press over the past several weeks surrounding In Rainbows, their cover-filled webcast, as well as the rumors of their future label homes.

Last week the band announced that XL Recordings would be handling the European release of the physical version of In Rainbows, and now they’ve let the cat out of the bag regarding the US release. According to fansite ateaseweb, the band ended up going with ATO Records, which has been rumored for several weeks now. Specifically, Radiohead created their own imprint, TBD Records, going through ATO. So, for those who didn’t order the discbox, you’ll be able to purchase a CD copy of the album domestically on January 2.
