The folks over at indie label Friendly Fire have picked up a new band to add to their growing roster, The Whitsundays. The Canadian group features two members from Tripwire favorites Shout Out Out Out Out, and will be releasing their self-titled album on January 22.
On first listen of the song “Sorry James,” we are reminded of ’60s British mod rock, featuring bits of the Zombies and the Animals. If you’re a fan of quality psych-pop, download the free MP3 below. We’re definitely looking forward to hearing the album in its entirety.
