Many of y’all out there fell in love with Midlake after spending some time with their album The Trials Of Van Occupanther, but did you know that they had an EP come out back in 2001? Titled Milkmaid Grand Army, the EP is set to be re-issued in the UK via Bella Union Records (coming out this week) and in the US on Basement Front Records (already out). This is sure to excite new fans since the initial pressing six years ago was limited to 1,000 copies and the stock is now depleted from that first run.
As for other Midlake news, the guys are currently in the studio working on their third LP. No more information on that is available yet, but once it is, we’ll let you know.
