Bauhaus Release Last Record

Bauhaus, one of the latest bands to go the reunion way of The Police, My Bloody Valentine and Crowded House, has decided to throw in the towel. The fathers of Goth have announced that they will be going into the coffin of retirement after the release of one more album. The band became active again in 2005 and saw them on the road with Nine Inch Nails.

Speaking with Billboard, drummer Kevin Haskins said, “We were getting along really well, but there was an incident that occurred. Some of us just felt that we didn’t want to carry on as a working unit.”

The last record will be called Going Away White, and will come out on March 4, 2008 via their own label. In the meantime, peep this live clip of them from 1999 performing “Bela Lugosi Is Dead.”
