Although you can’t download it yet, the Britpop lads in Supergrass have given fans an opportunity to check out “Diamond Hoo Ha Man” on their MySpace page. If this track is any indication as to the direction of their upcoming new album, this will be the most aggressive collection of tunes they’ve put together in quite some time. While their last LP, Road To Rouen, showed a band settling into maturity, they’ve kicked that to the curb and have returned to their earlier rambunctious sound.
The new single will be available strictly on 7″ vinyl, which will be in stores overseas beginning January 14. We’re still waiting on any concrete information regarding the upcoming full-length album, but hopefully that will begin to surface soon. We can’t wait!
