The Kooks Return In ‘08 With Konk

After having a mighty good year, The Kooks aren’t ready to chill out any time soon. The British lads have nearly completed work on their sophomore album, Konk, which was named after Ray Davies’ North London studio where they recorded the tunes. Their debut LP was recorded at Konk as well.

In between holiday radio shows, the band will be holed up in Los Angles with producer Tony Hoffer, where they are putting the last bits and pieces together. So far we can expect songs such as “See The Sun,” “Shine On,” “Do You Wanna (Make Love To Me),” “Disspear,” “Lonely Cat,” “Sway” and “Stormy Weather.” Konk is scheduled for release here in the US on April 15, 2008 via Astralwerks.
