Video – Saint Etienne Documents London’s Past

We ran across a really interesting short film today from Saint Etienne. The British popsters have been working along with filmmaker Paul Kelly on a series of clips that aim to document London’s past. For example, the film below focuses on the history of the New Piccadilly Cafe, which was about to close due to incoming developers. It is an interesting look at the inevitable corporate takeover of so many small mom & pop shops and eateries across the pond. Many thanks to Boicozine for uncovering this gem of a short film.
