Arctic Monkeys Become Your Favourite Worst Nightmare

It is pretty safe to say that one of the most talked about and hyped-up bands from last year was the Arctic Monkeys. Their debut album sold a bazillion copies in the UK and they made quite a stir here in the US as well. The lads now have the difficult talk of kicking the sophomore slump in the bollocks with their upcoming new album, Favourite Worst Nightmare.

After Whatever People Say I Am, That’s What I’m Not became the fastest selling debut album in UK history, Arctic Monkeys set quite a high bar for the follow-up. The band just announced the tracklisting and release date for the new record, which will be out in North America on April 23 via Domino. The first single, “Brianstorm,” will see the light of day on April 17.
