Video - The Story Of “Common People”

This weekend is going to be one of the best weekends in my life. I going to see Jarvis Cocker play for the first time ever. Anyone who knows anything about me knows that Pulp is my all-time favorite band, and I love Jarvis’ debut solo record.

Back in 2006, BBC made an hour-long documentary about Pulp’s hit song, “Common People.” If you have never seen the footage of them playing it live at Glastonbury, watch it here. Anyway, BBC wrangled up all the members of Pulp and reunited them to reminisce on the song. Below is the complete documentary broken up into six easily digestible parts. Enjoy, and please don’t read the lyrics whilst watching the video. (Thanks World’s Fair for the tip!)
