Carbon/Silicon To Release EP In May

Back in February we discovered Carbon/Silicon, the project of legendary rock icons Mick Jones (The Clash, Big Audio Dynamite) and Tony James (Generation X, Sigue Sigue Sputnik). They have kept their releases confined to the internet, never offering up any physical CDs for purchase. That is, until now.

Aversion is reporting that their four-song EP, The News, will hit stores in the UK on May 28. The duo will be releasing the disc on their very own Carbon/Silicon label, still keeping their music far away from the hands of “The Man.” One cool side note about the EP is that it features mixes by Bill Price, who had production duties on recordings done by the Sex Pistols and The Clash.

They are still offering up plenty of free MP3 downloads on their official website, so give them a listen while the tracks are available.
