A fellow Britpop fanatic sent us a link to these very cool shoes designed by the one and only Johnny Marr. The legendary Smiths guitarist teamed up with PF Flyers to create a limited edition pair of sneakers, with all proceeds going to the charities Cure Autism Now and The Pictor School.
Marr gave the PF Flyers Center Lo sneaker his own spin, making it in dark blue leather with black accents. His signature is also laser etched on the tongue of the shoe. These kicks are very limited, with only 108 pairs available in the US and an additional108 in the UK. They will be made available for purchase on July 10th, so you might want to go ahead and sign up for their email list so you don’t forget. They won’t last long.
