Ramone, Cobain, Strummer And Sid All Go To Heaven In Ad Campaign

Um, wow, where to begin on this one. Saatchi & Saatchi, the world famous ad agency has decided that it would be a good idea to immortalize the likes of Kurt Cobain, Joey Ramone, Joe Strummer and Sid Vicious as angels in an ad campaign for Dr. Martens boots.

According to NME, the late rockers will be adorned as angels wearing the shoes in heaven. Writer Andrew Petch told The Daily Swarm, “We wanted to communicate that Dr Martens boots are ‘made to last’ and we discovered that these idolised musicians wore them. Showing them still wearing their Docs in heaven dramatised the boots’ durability perfectly. And, as images, they feel very iconic.”

We did a little snooping on the internet found them from Adsoftheworld.com. Peep them below. Is anyone else out there as confused as we are?
