As the Music Nation competition rolls on, this week we have selected the Gainesville, GA group The Modern Society as our pick. Just because they hail from the south, their sound is much more east coast indie rock than you’d expect. Throw in bits of the Stones and some Strokes in for good measure, and you’d have these fellas. They’ve made it to the quarterfinals, but their fate is in your hands. If you want The Modern Society to land a record deal, get your vote on. Check out their video for “Black Daisies” below.
