ADA Gobbles Up Insound

If you dig indie music, chances are you’ve purchased an album or at least browsed through the selection over at Insound.com. They’ve been selling some mighty great music since 1998, offering both digital releases as well as CDs and vinyl. According to Billboard, the Alternative Distribution Alliance (also known as ADA), which is owned by the Warner Music Group, has purchased the website.

With the sweet infrastructure already in place on Insound, ADA now has a great place as a digital solution for their labels and accounts. Co-founder Matt Wishnow will continue to operate the site. We’re quite curious to see what changes are in store for Insound now that Warner has taken over.
