Musicians On Call Auction Beginning Soon

We’ve been huge fans of Musicians On Call since the organization was brought to our attention. One of their main programs is to bring live and recorded music to the bedsides of patients in various healthcare facilities. Right now they have thirteen weekly bedside performance programs in New York, five in Philly and three in Nashville. We do hope that they continue to grow into other markets, as bringing music to patients who are too sick to leave their rooms is such a wonderful thing to do.

The organization is putting on a benefit concert at the Hard Rock Café in NYC on January 29, which will be headlined by Seal. Hey, Sons & Daughters thought he was cool enough to cover “Crazy,” so ya gotta give it up to the guy. For people outside the NYC area who would still like to help, they will be launching an online auction beginning on January 22, running until February 7. We’re still waiting to see what rock & roll goodies they’ll have up for grabs, but they’ve already announced that an autographed Fender bass guitar from Sting will be on the auction block.
