Flashback Friday Video – Soul Coughing “Screenwriter’s Blues”

Although Mike Doughty has had a solid solo career thus far, it is his days in the badass group Soul Coughing that will always hold such a special place in our hearts. The eclectic group’s blending of spoken word, jazzy sounds and samples made for one of the most unique vibes to come from the ’90s alternative rock scene. Most may know material from their 1996 album Irresistible Bliss (”Super Bon Bon”) or 1998’s El Oso (”Circles”), we picked a gem of their 1994 album Ruby Vroom. Enjoy the awesomeness of “Screenwriter’s Blues.”
