Evan Farrell Memorial Concert Set

In December musician Evan Ferrall passed away after flying to San Francisco for a Japonize Elephants reunion and suffered fatal injuries from smoke inhalation in an apartment fire.

On January 20, the city of Bloomington is coming together to celebrate the life of Evan with a memorial service at the Buskirk-Chumley Theater and a benefit concert at the Bluebird Nightclub. The day will include refreshments and a screening of home movies, as well as a concert featuring performances by The Hollows, Kentucky Nightmare, Thousand Arrows, Golden Gram (from Rouge Wave), Merrie Sloan and Toby of Corroken County, Drakkar Sauna and the Japonize Elephants. There will also be a silent auction with donates items from local businesses and individuals.

Admission will be an open donation, and all proceeds will go to Evan Farrell’s family, including his wife Jill and two sons. If you can’t make the show and would still like to help out, they have a PayPal account set up here.
