A favorite album of ours from the past year was Heavy Trash’s Going Way Out With Heavy Trash. This duo combined the mighty powers of Jon Spencer (Jon Spencer Blues Explosion) and Matt Verta-Ray (Speedball Baby), joining their forces in a rockabilly showdown. For their latest clip from the album, Heavy Trash shows us that rock & roll never died, it just took a space vacation. Brilliant! The video was directed by Mort Todd along with Matt Verta-Ray. Heavy Trash’s sophomore album is out now via Yep Roc.
