One of our favorites from Australia, the dance-tastic Cut Copy, will be retuning with a brand spankin’ new album in just a few months. Out on March 8, In Ghost Colours will be released via Modular Records. The first single off the album is “Lights & Music,” which has officially received its digital release. It features remixes by Boyz Noise and Superdiscount, making it totally worth picking up.

From the samples available on the band’s MySpace page, we’ve noticed that they’ve gone a bit more in a rock direction, adding in shoegaze guitars on “So Haunted.” Needless to say, we’re quite anxious to hear the rest of the album. A select few will be lucky enough to see Cut Copy live this spring, as they’re returning to our shores for a few NYC and LA shows, as well as rocking SXSW.
