Meat Beat Manifesto Still Lives! New Album!

Although we weren’t even aware that Meat Beat Manifesto was still around, any doubts were squashed when we discovered that the electronic band does indeed have a new album coming out this year. Autoimmune will be released on April 8 via Metropolis Records, making this their tenth full-length album. TENTH! You have to tip your cap to lead Manifesto dude Jack Dangers for such a feat.

So what will the new album sound like? According to Dangers, it will be a masterpiece of dubstep and electronica. He said: “I feel closest to the Dubstep trend. I feel like Dub has always been part of my sound”. Alright then, dub it up! The good news is that a full tour is being planned for this summer. MBM’s live performances are typically impressive multimedia experiences, something we’ve also witnessed first hand several years ago. Once we know some confirmed dates, we’ll make sure to pass them along.

For those unfamiliar with Meat Beat Manifesto’s extensive back catalog, here is the bonkers video for “Helter Skelter 97.”
