One of the most talked about movies in Tripwire history has been the Joy Division biopic, Control. The Anton Corbijn directed film was as amazingly stunning as we hoped it would be, and now we are waiting for the DVD release here in the states later this year. Accompanying the biopic DVD is a true Joy Division documentary, simply titled Joy Division. While the biopic focused more on the life and loves of frontman Ian Curtis, this documentary should give us an interesting look at the music of the band itself. We’re happy to see than the late Tony Wilson was able to contribute to the film, and we’re damn anxious to see it. Check out the official trailer below.
