The Kooks Are One Man Down

In a bit of sad news, The Kooks’ bass player has officially left the band. The lads from Brighton made the announcement on their MySpace page, where they said: “Max Rafferty has parted company with The Kooks, the band will be continuing with the forthcoming shows. Dan Logan bassist with local Brighton band cat the dog will be filling in for the short term.”

Losing Rafferty ain’t slowing these buggers down, as their touring will go an as scheduled. The band’s sophomore album, Konk, will be out later this year as well.
