Beastie Boys To Headline Music Therapy Benefit In NYC

The Beastie Boys are no strangers to helping out a good cause or two. Next month they will be headlining a very cool event that is benefiting the Institute For Music And Neurologic Function. The Bronx-based organization was founded on the idea that music has the ability to heal, rehabilitate and inspire, and music therapy can help restore and improve our physical, emotional and neurological health.

The Beasties are headlining the benefit, the latest Music Has Power event, for this amazing institute, which will take place on March 4 at Terminal 5 in NYC. The evening will be hosted by electonica guru Moby, with additional special guests to be announced very soon. If you’re in the New York area, tickets go on sale February 8 via Ticketmaster.
