Concert Raises Cash For Brandon Schantz Endowment

While Brandon Schantz is not a household name, his legacy hopefully will be one day. Brandon was a talented TV producer, sportscaster and founder of Brandon Schantz Productions. At the young age of 27, Brandon passed away due to a rare form of lymphatic cancer. In his honor, friends and family are coming together to have a music-based party at Los Angeles’ Roxy Theater.

On March 6, SoCal’s Rooney, Brett Dennen and Lisa Donnelly will play the Roxy Theater for his memorial show. Brandon received his undergrad education at UT Austin, and all of the proceeds from the evening’s festivities will go towards the Brandon Schantz Memorial Endowment in Broadcast Journalism at the University of Texas, Austin. Tickets are $26.50 and can be purchased through Ticketmaster or the Roxy box office. Additional donations can be made here. The benefit kicks off at 7pm.
