Although many of you may have already noticed a few of these clips, we thought it might be smart to inform everybody who was in Austin about this new feature that we will be rolling out over the next few weeks. We transformed our Tripwire HQ inside the Levi’s/FADER Fort into our own small (and we mean SMALL) studio for recording acoustic performances from many of our favorite bands. We rolled video, captured some amazing audio, the results of which you can see below.

Over our four days rolling tape, we captured some unbelievable moments, cramming all six members of Fanfarlo into our room, hearing the rockin’ sounds of The Whigs in an acoustic setting, hearing some pretty amazing stories from Ed Harcourt, hanging out with Frightened Rabbit for a bit, the list goes on and on. We have mountains of tape to sort through, so we’ll be getting these acoustic performances up a bit at a time, so keep checking back for more. In the meantime, enjoy the always amazing Whigs as well as new Tripwire favorites Fanfarlo.
