For our latest clip from our ongoing Tripwire Acoustic Session series, we bring you the Athens, GA group Dead Confederate. They were one of the few bands allowed to lug in a few amps, so I guess technically this isn’t an “acoustic session,” but it is mighty rad nonetheless.
The band’s self-titled EP is available now, with a recently completed full-length album coming soon. Straddling the lines of several genres, from shoegaze to Southern rock, their wall of sound and impressive use of soft/loud dynamics made for an amazing recording session in our small space within the Levi’s/FADER Fort. We’ve got plenty more of these coming, so stay tuned!
