Video – Holy Fuck “Lovely Allen” (live on The Side Street Project)

We’re pretty intrigued by a new independently produced show called The Side Street Project. In it, they gather established and emerging artists together for a day, during which they are filmed performing live. The cool part of this new show is that the artists collaborate on original material as well as on exclusive covers, making this quite an interesting concept.

For their pilot episode, The Side Street Project brought in Holy Fuck, Buck 65 and Emm Gryner. Together they performed covers of Bruce Springsteen’s “State Trooper,” Gordon Lightfoot’s “Wreck Of The Edmund Fitzgerald” and yes, Deff Leppard’s “Pour Some Sugar On Me.” To check the performances out, head over to the show’s official website. If you’d like a sample of what to expect, watch the clip of Holy Fuck performing “Lovely Allen” below.

Props to the crew over at The Side Street Project for a job well done! We’re most definitely looking forward to seeing who they line up next!
