Video – Pete & The Pirates’ Black Cab Session

Earlier this month we introduced you to a cool video series filmed in the UK called The Black Cab Sessions. In it, a cameraman and a band hop in a cab and film an acoustic performance. They’ve had Spoon, The Raveonettes, Langhorne Slim, Fanfarlo and many other Tripwire favorites so far. One of their most recent comes from one of the standout bands from SXSW 2007, a group of British lads called Pete & The Pirates.

The band’s debut full-length album, Little Death, is now available overseas on Stolen Recordings. We’re still waiting for somebody to pick up this great record for release here in the States. For a little taste, here is their Black Cab Session, during which they perform “Knots.” Click here to see it for yourself.
