Bad Veins Win Tribeca Film Prize

We feel like proud parents here at The Tripwire today. Our On The Cover alumni Bad Veins have won the first ever Target Music Maker Award, which is part of NYC’s Tribeca Film Festival. The event is curated by music supervisor extraordinaire Alexandra Patsavas, who will award Cincinnati’s Bad Veins an “unrestricted cash prize of $10,000…” so that the band “might record, mix, tour and certainly explore new opportunities.”

Breaking The Band will take place on Friday, May 2 at Webster Hall. This event will include live performances by The Hold Steady, The Virgins and Republic Tigers (who happen to be on Patsavas’ recently launched Chop Shop Records), and yes, Bad Veins.

Congrats to Bad Veins from the entire Tripwire crew!
