The Last Shadow Puppets is the brainchild of Arctic Monkeys’ Alex Turner and The Rascals’ Miles Kane. The duo has created a new album that is reminiscent of both Scott Walker and The Coral, and we love every minute of it. (It’s nice to hear a less angular rock sound from them.)
The first video is for the track with the same title as the album, and was directed by Romain Gavras. In it you’ll see ice-skating, an Orthodox priest, Soviet tanks, Russian soldiers and the snow in Moscow. We can’t wait for the full to come out on our shores on May 6.
