Although we’re nowhere near the release date, it is good to hear that Marc Bianchi, better known as Her Space Holiday, will return with a new album later this year. Titled XOXO, Panda And The New Kid Revival, which will hit stores on September 9 via Mush Records. This will mark the proper follow-up to his previous effort, The Young Machines, as well as its companion release, The Young Machines Remixed.

From the bits we’re been fortunate enough to hear so far, the new album marks an interesting new direction for Her Space Holiday. Bianchi has opted to leave his computer alone, shifting from electronic-based pop to a much more traditional lineup of instrumentation. Although it is a bit of a bummer that we’ll have to wait until September to hear the rest, a few cities will be lucky enough to have the opportunity to check out the tunes live. As of now Her Space Holiday (backed by members of Marc’s old touring line-up augmented by Mush Records’ own Lymbyc Systym – Mike Bell playing drums and Jared Bell playing keyboards and some guitar), will be hitting Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago and NYC.
