New Album From Nine Inch Nails Available As Free Download

Free album downloads definitely seem to be growing in popularity from artists who can afford to do so. Trent Reznor opted to thank his loyal fan base today by stating “This one’s on me,” making his brand new NIN album available as a completely free download.

The Slip currently has no pay options whatsoever, with zero retail partners. For fans who want a physical copy of the album, a CD and vinyl release should happen at some point in July. The tracks are encoded without any DRM, at a higher than CD quality of 24 bit 96k. The download also includes a PDF with credits and artwork. The tunes were produced by Trent along with Atticus Ross and Alan Moulder.

You can pick up The Slip for free over at NIN.com.
