This is shaping up to be a mighty good year for Ed Harcourt. For fans here in the US, we’ve been patiently waiting for somebody to pick up his most recent album, The Beautiful Lie. Well, as we reported back in February, the good people over at Dovecote Records snagged this fantastic record, which will finally hit stores here in the US on June 3.
After blowing us away during SXSW, as well as performing an amazing Tripwire Acoustic Session (which we will be posting in the next few days), we’re thrilled to announce that he will appearing on The Tonight Show, marking his US television debut. Yes, after all of his previous albums released on the majors, this will be his FIRST television appearance. His performance will air on June 6, so go ahead and set those Tivos.
Harcourt is also planning a North American tour this summer, which should be announced soon.
