During last year’s SXSW festivities, one of the stand out bands that we watched was most definitely Hot Club De Paris. Although they’ve yet to make waves on our shores, back in Liverpool they’ve been busy, and will be releasing a brand new 7″ single on May 26. The track, “Hey Housebrick,” comes from their forthcoming new album, Live At Dead Lake.
The single is currently streaming on their MySpace page, sounding just a bit less spazzed out than their previous tracks such as the Tripwire favorite “Shipwreck.” Hopefully somebody in the US will decide to sign these lads, or else we’re doomed to pay for the imports.
