Back in April we tipped you off to the upcoming sophomore album from I Love Math. Since then, Getting To The Point Is Beside It has been released by this outstanding Dallas band by Glurp Records. To refresh your memory, the group is fronted by the multi-talented John Dufilho, who is also the frontman for Deathray Davies and the drummer for Apples In Stereo. Yup, he is one busy dude.
The new album was recorded by Salim Nourallah, who has been making quite a name for himself lately, especially with his work on the recently released new Old 97’s CD. We offered you a free MP3 of the I love Math track “Josephine Street” last month, which you can still snag by clicking here. We can now also give you two very cool covers to download as well. The band recorded their own renditions of Guided By Voices’ “A Good Flying Bird” and The Zombies “I Remember When I Loved Her.” This is cool stuff, so hop to it and get your download on!
