Sigur Ros To Play NYC’s MoMA


After making waves with their video in the nude, “Gobbledigook,”, Sigur Ros are keeping their name alive by announcing a special show on June 17. They will be playing at New York City’s MoMA as a part of the museum’s PopRally series. The show is running in conjunction with Icelandic artist Olafur Eliasson’s exhibition, Take Your Time: Olafur Eliasson. Eliasson’s works are on view at MoMA and PS1 until June 30.

Tickets for Sigur Ros’ MoMA date are $18.00 and will go on sale Tuesday, June 10 at 12PM EST via moma.org/poprally. More Sigur Ros dates will be announced soon, but here are the known confirmed North American dates so far:
