The Orchard Gobbles Up TVT

You might recall our previous news bits on the implosion of the independent label TVT, which was forced to declare bankruptcy. We have been waiting to see what the future had in store for the label’s roster, which seems to now be a bit clearer.

According to the New York Post (via Daily Swarm), The Orchard has decided to purchase the recorded music arm of TVT. The digital music distributor will acquire the entire TVT catalog, its artists, contracts and even their digital distro business. Cha-ching!!!
