It has been almost thirty years since the musical minds of David Byrne and Brian Eno have collaborated together. The two rock icons joined forces after three decades to complete work on a new album, titled Everything That Happens Will Happen Today.
On August 4 they will be offering a free MP3 download over on the album’s website. Byrne & Eno will then offer a free audio stream and various online purchase options, allowing fans to buy and immediately download the tunes while waiting for the physicals to be available later in the fall.
Byrne has also announced that a tour is in the works, which will kick off in September. He will be performing music from Everything That Happens Will Happen Today, as well as from his previous collaborations with Eno on three Talking Heads albums.
