New Metallica Song And Video Available Online

It’s starting to seem like Metallica is going to release their forthcoming album Death Magnetic one song at a time. Having already leaked “The Day That Never Comes” and “My Apocalypse” via streaming on their website and for sale on iTunes, with less than two weeks to go until the September 12th release, they have made another track available to the masses.

Like the aforementioned tracks, the song, called “Cyanide”, is available to check out at their website, where you will also see the band has posted a new video for the “first” single, “The Day That Never Comes”. In an attempt to visualize the near eight-minute epic, the video for the song shows soldiers traveling through the desert cut with shots of the band performing in the same landscape. On the Metallica website the band is quoted as saying, “We were honored to work with acclaimed film director and fellow Dane Thomas Vinterberg, as our goal with this song was to step outside of the usual every day music video box and into to the world of film.”
