Two of our favorite bands are teaming up this fall for a tour that has many exclaiming, it’s about damn time!
High Places just announced their fall plans, which include a record release show in Chicago, a big show at the South St. Seaport and others with Dan Deacon and Yo La Tengo. A couple of weeks ago we tipped you off to Ponytail’s dates with Don Caballero and impending European jaunt. But what has our ears dripping with anticipation are the slew of dates the pair will share starting in – of all places – Grinnell, Iowa. Of course this is not the first time they will have played together, but as far as we can recall, it’s the first time they will tour extensively on the same bill.
