A few weeks ago we witnessed the premiere of the video for Fiasco’s “Oh, You Horny Monster!”. Seated on the floor of a dank Silent Barn, the band, their friends and the willing audience got a visual taste of their forthcoming LP Native Canadians. Now they’re letting the rest of the world in on the fun.

[Crowd Watching Fiasco Video]
Directed by Carlos Charlie Perez, the video for “Monster!” is filled with still shots of the guys in Fiasco dressed as super heroes hanging out with zombies intertwined with comic-book style graphics (think the “Pow”, “Oof” kind from the old Batman series) and a ton of fake blood. Pitchfork described the track as sounding like “the Ventures covering Rachmaninoff,” which we know because we were forced to pull the video from their site (it’s still not posted on YouTube or anywhere else without the Pitchfork player).
