Oasis’ Noel Gallagher Assaulted On Stage In Toronto

Maybe this guys was a mistaken, ugly Radiohead fan, but what’s even more surprising than this on-stage attack of Noel is that brother Liam actually stuck up for him.

While performing “Morning Glory” – much to the delight of those in attendance at Toronto’s 2008 Virgin Festival, a man suddenly appears on stage and, without warning, pushes an unsuspecting guitarist Noel Gallagher to the floor – seemingly also to the delight of those in attendance – causing a halt in the performance for several minutes. We don’t want to ruin the surprise, but it happens right around the 1:30 mark of this clip. Once nerves and microphones were restored, the band resumed performing with “The Importance of Being Idle.”
