It’s almost as if Wednesdays are turning into hardcore day here at the TW. But it’s hard to ignore a band that has over 85,000 plays for a 48-second song from a self-released released debut. Granted, it was produced by Steve Albini.
Mixing equal parts skate-thrash, speed metal, crust and 80’s hardcore, combined with one of the highest-energy live shows you will see (note the video below), the guys in Trash Talk have been touring non-stop since releasing their debut self-titled full-length on their own Trash Talk Collective, including show-stopping performances at Sound and Fury and F Yeah Fest. Currently in Europe with Paint It Black, next up is a full US tour with Alpha & Omega and select dates with Everytime I Die, which will also include a set at the Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin (performing w/ Bad Brains, Young Widows, Bouncing Souls, Flipper, Dead Milkmen, Integrity, DOA, Cro-Mags and more).
And while you can actually stream Trash Talk’s entire debut on PunkNews, the Tripwire is the only place to download the song “Dig”. Wary ears beware.
