Tripwire Exclusive – Division Of Laura Lee “LAX” + US Tour

The American release date for their forthcoming album Violence Is Timeless might still be TBD, but the Swedes in DOLL touch down tomorrow for a short US stint to give us a taste of the new songs. Among those helping out with promotion will be friends Jose Gonzalez and Joe Lally.

Debuting songs from Violence Is Timeless starting tomorrow in Philly, this short trip marks Division Of Laura Lee’s first trip to the US in – to quote the release – “years.” But while the American release date is TBD, it has a firm Swedish release date and and every Monday, a video directed by friends of the band will be posted on
their website for each song on the record. To date, 7 videos have been posted, including segments by special guest directors Jose Gonzalez, Joe Lally of Fugazi and Kristoffer Astrom of Sweden’s Fireside, among others.

According to their website, the next single “LAX” (not to be confused with the Hot Snakes song of the same name) will be available on October 15th, but we have an exclusive premiere of it to celebrate their coming to America.
