As many Oasis fans are already aware, they recently announced some intimate club dates with Ryan Adams. Since their show in NY is at such a small venue that many die-hard fans won’t get a chance to see their favorite Brit-pop band, the fine people at the All England Club are throwing a free listening party to preview the album before it comes out. If it’s the bonus DVD you’re interested in, you’re also in luck, we have a preview of that too.
To be honest, the band (or their “people”) are the ones responsible for uploading a preview video that takes a look behind the scenes of the recording of their new album, Dig Out Your Soul. This preview is taken from the Gold & Silver & Sunshine documentary, which will be included with the limited edition version of the album as well as the box-set or separately as a digital download.
All of the shwag mentioned above doesn’t hit stores until next Tuesday, October 7th, but if you live in NYC, you can hear the whole record while sipping on some complimentary tea and crumpets this Thursday the 2nd. Well, if you consider Boddington’s Ale, Bulldog Gin and Yellowglen Champagne “tea.” Either way, its all free and open to the public, just like the “tea” sandwiches that will be provided by Papa Lima Sandwich.
