Our current On The Cover band, The Whigs, kicked off their winter US tour a couple of days ago in Alabama. The guys are out and about shaking hands and kissing babies, spreading the word about their badass sophomore album, Mission Control, which just happens to hit stores this coming Tuesday via ATO Records. We saw these guys live last SXSW, and can assure you that they are damn good on stage. Speaking of Austin, seeing them on March 13 at the Austin Music Hall with My Morning Jacket could cause a complete mind explosion!
