Coachella Announces 2009 Dates

It seems like only yesterday, but apparently the 2008 Coachella Festival is long enough in the past now that we can start discussing the 2009 installment of the California desert staple.

Aside from the normal series of events, 2009 will see the launch of a festival dedicated strictly to country music the weekend after Coachella. Titled the Stagecoach fest, it will take place Saturday, April 25 and Sunday, April 26. The Coachella Valley Music & Arts Festival will take place April 17, 18 and 19; both at the Empire Polo Field in Indio, California – the same grounds where Coachella debuted in 1999.
